Ration Shop in Noida

Got confused with the word Ration? We four friends visited Noida 3 years back. All of us were doing fashion designing course from a well known media college in Sector 18 noida. We were putting up in a paying guest in sector 27. The institute was very near to our place and we used to go there by walk or by taking a rickshaw. One fine day we saw a wall painted with the description of some local ration shop in Noida. One of us asked a curious question. What is Ration ??? He thought its is an English word and he does not even know about it.

Rest two of us knowingly made joke of him like a popular TV commercial that he does not even know what it is. As soon as he entered in the class he asked the teacher. Sir..!! .today we will start our studies after you explain me the meaning of the ration. On this our teacher asked gave him a hint that he is using it daily. He was looking very funny at that point of time as he got more confused as what does this word actually mean. During whole class he could not concentrate on the lecture and the wall painting made him puzzled.

Solving the Mystry : 

While coming back to our place to Noida sector27, he decided to get a rickshaw. However two of us went to library to get some books for final exams study. Finally my friend asked rickshaw puller..bhaiya ration kya hota hai and that fellow explained to him the meaning in very interesting way. Sahab jiske liye hum rickshaw chalate hain (our bread and butter).  When we reached home, my friend gave tip to the the poor guy for solving his puzzle. Indeed it was a great day for all of. We enjoyed a lot and had lots of fun.   

Discussion at home during dinner :

During the dinner on same day, our friend very proudly said that now he knows the meaning of ration and he narrated whole story how he came to know about it. Then he described to us that its noting but grocery shops in Noida.

Now after long time when ever we guys meet or talk we always remember that funny Noida ration shop incidence which kept our friend puzzled for long time. Sometimes old stories and great incidences keeps us connected.
